Let's get cosy

I love beeing able to stay at home all day long and lighting up lots of candles, drinking a hot cup of aromatic tea and listening to Bing Crosby's christmas songs at this dark time of the year. Oh how I'm looking forward to the weekend!

I popped out my x-mas stockings last week and left them on a basket, when I saw them yesterday I suddenly thought that they would look good on a photo, just like this, lying on the basket, what do you think? I've just been to lazy to hang them up on my stairs just yet.

I'm back from my trip

Hello I'm back from the trip to see our friends. We've had a very good time and these are all my little treasures, that I've brought home :D Some things I've crafted, some things I got as presents from our dear friend and some I bought in Schleswig and Kappeln, like the stickers, the cards, the golden stamp and the red christmas tin sign. I even sewed some hearts, normally sewing isn't my favourite thing to do, but sitting all together and crafting and chatting was really fun.
And my two Angels have got a new friend, the bottom one, crafted by my friend and partly by myself:

It's complete!
Here they are, the last four pages of my first altered book, no more blank pages left!

It has 52 pages! :D Now I'll have to think about a possibility to close it, because it's very thick. Maybe I'll have to drill a hole in it for a ribbon or even some kind of a lock.

Everything is ready and prepared for the winter!
Bulbs are planted, leaves are recycled, birdhouses and birdfeedinghouses are clean and ready, plants are wrapped up warm or ready to bring them in quickly. My heat has been repaired this morning. The winter can come! But instead my hyancinthus is starting to blossom again because it is still warm.

which at least here in Germany normally is a really dark and wet month. But with all the creative things I have to do this month, I'm sure it will pass very fast. I'am in Robyn's christmas collage swap :D and my swap partner is Ainslie from http://www.suburbansider.squarespace.com/ I'm looking forward to do the collage for her and to get one for the first time even more! Then I have to finish things in the garden and to start decorate it for winter/christmas and then decorate the house too. I love doing that! And last but not least I'm going on a little creative voyage with my sister and my mum from 17th until 20th November and I'm looking forward to that one too of course. We're going to see good friends in the country side of Schleswig Holstein, where it is always lovely. It's the first time my sister can make a journey whithout her kids. She deserves it!
