It's still raining
and because I can't enjoy my favorite place anymore, which is this:
nor can I work in the garden without drowning and they forecast no better weather for next week, I've decided today to go back to work on Monday and continue my vacation sometime in June. I just need the warmth of the sun to feel that I can have a really relaxing vacation even or especially when I "only" stay at home. Two more pictures that I took on Monday this week:

A happy weekend to all of you!

Clematis "multiblue" and rusty iron birds
So yesterday was the first day of my vacation/holidays (the first day of 3 weeks !) and in the morning we've had a thunder storm and it was raining heavily, but luckily the wind blew all the clouds away and in the afternoon the weather changed and suddenly the sun came out and it was wonderful! I've been puttering around a bit and then I began to read a new book in my deck chair and later I took some new garden photos. That's exactly how I like my vacation to be! Clematis "Multiblue" is in full bloom now:

Al/Sigrun, do you recognise this rusty iron ornament? I've just attached an iron ring to mine, so that I can put balls or small pots in it.

Centranthus ruber is going to bloom soon!
A little iron bird is nesting in my rosemary pot instead of using the bird house ;-)

Aquilegia/Columbine/Akelei
Today it's litterally pouring down the whole day (it is 9.30 pm now and still is) and all my watering cans and the water barrels are filled and I think it could stop now. It's very windy too! I took these photos of my blooming aquilegias 2 days ago:

Yesterday I've picked some flowers for a vase, so that I can enjoy them in the house as well when it's raining cats and dogs outside

Some May flowers
Yesterday we've had the last day of the beautiful weather period and I took some photos of May flowers in my garden. Today is the first rainy day of the last 3 weeks. I guess my garden will love it, but I hope this greyness will not last too long! The first alliums and clematis at my rose arc are finally blooming:

The wisteria is in full bloom now

I've bought a new little syringa/lilac two weeks ago and it has also just started to open it's tender blossoms

Well and this in the two last photos is my virburnum opolus, it hast just changed it's color from a beautiful light green to white. Don't you also think that the blossoms looks almost like a hydrangea, just smaller?

Some more impressions
out of my spring garden. It's so exciting to see something new grow or bloom every day and to decorate it is so much more fun than it was in winter:

Garden weather
Isn't it just fun to go out in the garden see the flowers and greens, the true blue sky and listen to the birds songs? This week we have wonderful weather and I enjoy my garden every day after work. Best is that the weather forecast said that this fantastic early summer weather is supposed to stay until mid next week at least, so I'm looking forward to a whole weekend of puttering and relaxing in my garden :D

Delicious Scents
I love the delicious scents of all the scrumptious goodies of "L'Occitane en Provence" with scents like rose bonbon, vanilla, green tea, amber, honey, almond, orange, lavender etc.. My friend Heidi is a cosmetician/beautician and she only uses natural products. When I visited her last week she's got all these gorgeous L'Occitane stuff. I could have stayed forever and just smell the tasty scents and look at all the beautiful packages, tins and bottles and I suddenly felt the need to have it all ha ha, but at the end of the day I was a good girl and just bought this wonderful fragrance spray called "Eau des 4 reines" Fragrance of the 4 Queens: Four royal roses comprise the heart notes of this delicious and fruity spray infused with muted hints of violet, black currant leaves, white cedar and heliotrope. Fresh and modern. An affordable luxury.

Next time I want this yummy lip balm
but there is so much more, just go have a look and discover all the lovely scents of the Provence! http://www.loccitane.com/
Other than that I feel a bit weird at the moment as I haven't done much in collaging or crafts the last weeks because I've spend more time seeing friends and family, doing indoor house works and gardening of course and I've moved my little studio upstairs in our houses top room, to get my living room free of all this paper and crafting stuff, but since it's there I don't like going up and beeing creative anymore. Hm I guess I have to get used to it first and I need a new chair for my desk upstairs (IKEA is calling me!), well I just did some little things like this spring card for example

Hip hip hurray it's May! My favourite time of the year!
