I've just placed 4 candles on the cover of one of my boxes, doesn't it somehow look like an Advents wreath already?
I also love pressed glass and glass bells because they shine so lovely in the candle light
This afternoon I'm looking forward to finish garden works, make the garden winter resistent and hopefully do a bit of seasonal decorating outside so that I can enjoy looking out of my living room window again, at them moment where all the beautiful flowers are gone, I find this rather boring. It would be great if I was able to infect you a bit with the Christmas decoration spirit with my posts, because I can't wait to see more seasonal inspirations on other blogs. I just love this season, can you tell? lol And because it's always over so rapidly, I like to start early so I can make the season a bit longer. We have no Halloween and Thanksgiving here in Germany which is what a lot of you readers from other parts of our world are still busy with.
Well I think that's it for now, I'm wishing you all a very happy, inspirational and creative weekend ! xox

Hi Carol,
I tried to read your blog yesterday but I guess blogger was sleepy.
I love these photos and especially the little stitched hearts. I should try to make some but I am all thumbs . . . green ones,ha ha ha.
Me two, I had some problems with your blog yesterday (I just saw the lovely rose wallpaper, nothing more) and I am more than glad that you are back with the first x-mas pics today. You have beautiful hearts!
I guess I'll start in a fortnight because my hubby is strickly against any X-Mas decoration before the end of November. What a shame! Can't wait to put all my angels out!
Hope you have a great weekend!
What a lovely photo's.I also just love those country style snowmen and hearts.
It worked.....you have me infected with the Christmas decoration spirit! At this moment I'm busy with making some Christmas ornaments, but maybe this weekend I will climb up in the attic to get some of my Christmas decorations out.I will make some photo's of them.
Your definetly infecting me with Christmas. I started blogging about it when I first noticed the Christmas decorations going into the stores in Oct. But it will be a long time before our decorations go up, it was always my maternal families tradition to put the decorations up on Christmas Eve, a tradition that I TRY to keep , the rest of the family rail against it!

What a beautiful collection of Christmas ornaments you have! I am looking forward to seeing them on your Christmas tree! Have a wonderful weekend.
ach da sind sie wieder, deine wunderschönen Weihnachtsanhänger und all deine Glitzersachen ;-) Du hast es so schön bei dir...Lg*N
Just lovely! I love country style snowmen and Xmas decorations, too. Makes the holidays feel more cozy.
Oh yesterday...yes, I had problems too...I couldnt see any of your blog.
But today is another day...Oh I'm in a Christmas mood too...love all your decorations especially those glass bells..GREAT!

I love all your pictures. I can't wait to get out the Christmas stuff. I always wait until after Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see how you decorate with all your goodies!
Delightful!! Your heart and home are a wonderland!!
Carol, all of your decorations are so lovely!
I too love the bells and the beautiful blue crystal looking stars are gorgeous. I love Christmas decorations and love unpacking mine and seeing them again just like you. Some feelings are universal, I guess. Thanks once again for the visual treat! Oh and lest I forget; the matchbox ornaments and cones you made are so cute! :)My computer isn't cooperating lately when I try to leave comments.....
Oh Carol, I wish you lived near by! I love Christmas decorations and I'm actually on pins and needles waiting to decorate, but I've been trying hard to live one season at a time. Like you say we still have Thanksgiving to celebrate here in the USA. I actually "think" Christmas all year long because of the craft sales and because I love it. I've been enjoying seeing the ornaments that you are making and I certainly understand your excitement about the coming season. All your things are lovely!
Lovely photos again Carol!
I have a collection of new England style snowmen and hearts too! I love them.
Your glass bells are gorgeous!
