I've been searching for a special photo today and while I went through hundreds of pages of my imageshack account and saw all the glorious summer flower photos that I took in my garden last year I had the idea of making a summer tribute post today, so we have something to look forward too! I guess that most of you are longing for blue sky and beautiful greens and flowers as much as I do during these gray days. So lay back and enjoy!
Oh beautiful summer please come back soon! *sigh*

These are amazing photos and a wonderful reminder that Summer WILL come! Yahoo!
You must live in Heaven! Your garden is the garden of my dreams. Your photos are spectacular. Hurry up Spring!
Oh my gosh Carol!!! I will be looking at these often!!!
You ought to sell the set so we could have them on our computers as a screen saver or something!!
They are simply breathtaking!!!
Thanks for lifting my spirit!
You take the BEST pictures!!! And can I go gaga over the ring in the one shot?! Love that ringgggg!
Sigh... thre is still some snow on the ground here, but at least I can DREAM of summer... thanks for the inspiration! :)
Oh Carol, they are all beautiful but you are killing me! I'm longing to feel the warmth of the sun shine down on my shoulders.
Carol - how beautiful everything is! Thank you for this lovely reminder of summer! It is well below freezing here today, and windy ~ but spring and summer are right around the corner. All of your flowers are just gorgeous, and I especially love those darling foxgloves! =)
LG, Monika
Carol! You have an amazing green thumb & also your photography is so beautiful! These are flowers are flawless, no spots, bugs or anything. Gorgeous ~ Dawn :)
oooooooohhhhhhhh my!!!
these are so beautiful. i am especially envious of all your roses. Our climate is too harsh for most of the glorious ones i see here.
Thank you so much for sharing these...and for your kind post!
Just what the doctor ordered!!! Oh these pictures do my soul good. Our Canadian winter just does not want to end and these pictures give me hope that the worse is almost over. I just love, love your garden. The roses, oh Carol, beautiful. TWT
Your pictures are fantastic; I can wait see new pictures this summer. I hope spring comes soon for you. Warm greeting from Florida
Summertime......and the living is easy!
Thanks for the lovely summer preview Carol. You have a lovely garden and very pretty rings too. ;-)
Is that a willow screen in your garden? It looks very nice and cottage-y.
Thank you for the very kind comments on my blog.
Are all those flowers yours? They are gorgeous!! I particularly love the rose with the water droplets. They would all make great postcards.
best wishes Ginny
Stunning photo's!!!! Spring is so close yet so far away. Hopefully a month from now I will be outside starting on my spring clean up. Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers.
Your garden is 'to die for'!
I love the foxgloves! Your roses are so thick and healthy I first thought they were peonies!
What a gorgeous breath of summer to look at this morning. thank you Carol. Yes it will come back to us and sooooon! There's no where in this world I'd rather be than in my garden on a summer day. In all my years of marriage I have never wanted to take a summer vacation for more than a couple of days at a time and leave my garden to the heat without my tending to its needs. I always thought as winter as a good time to get away form home not summer.
Carol, this was just lovely. And just what I needed!! The gray skies are too much this time of the year. I do long to be in the garden. I especially loved your foxgloves in these photos. Thanks for sharing them.
No, nothing more perfect !
I love flowers so much, thank you for those beautiful photos !
Can I come be a little fairy in your garden and create my wardrobe and teacups from your blooms? So, so pretty!
Your pictures are much nicer than what I am seeing out my window, which is lots of snow. I especially love the blue on that trellis! Debbie
Such wonderful photos and such vibrant colours. They truly are amazing! My favourites are the foxglove and sweet pea.
It looks like Spring has sprung... I can almost smell those roses... I'm getting impatient for spring to arrive....I'm doing Spring cleaning now....and Sat. the time goes forward an hour.....so that must mean it's almost spring.....
What gorgeous photos of your flowers ... just what I needed on a winter's day. I can't wait for gardening season.
Those are so beautiful! I can't wait for summer!
Oh, what incredible photos, Carol!! Your flowers are just gorgeous...some varieties I have never seen, I love the big round balls of tiny purple flowers!!!
Kelli

It's me again Carol.
I thought I'd let you know I just posted about my Lady Banks Rose that is blooming right now!
Be sure to click on my link so you can read all about the largest rose in the world! Quite amazing!
Hi Carol,
**sigh** indeed! How beautiful all of your photgraphs are - they really lift the spirits.
My garden is starting to wake up, so I am sure yours is too....won't be long now.....
Have a lovely weekend,
Niki. xx
Oh my! What a gorgeous garden you have! I especially love the rose in the 3rd photo...do you know it's name? and the canterbury (sp?) bells...and the delphiniums...I could go on and on. Thanks for sharing.
OMGosh Carol! What exquisite photos. I so enjoyed each one. They are so lovely I think I can smell them. What camera do you use, if you don't mind my asking? Thanks for sharing such beauty! xoxoxo

Just found your blog (I am a new blogger) and I just know I will be coming back regularly to see that beautiful garden of yours. If you have time (I see you have many blog connections) do come over and visit me. I just love gardening and will be posting much on this as the months go by.
Every now and then when the day gets really busy and I need a quick relief, I love to come to your virtual garden and take time to smell the roses.
Thank you TOO for the sweetness you leave me :)
We're having a really dreary, damp, overcast day here in Cumbria - but your pictures have raised my spirits! Thank you.
Oh Carol! I too long for summer! those roses are just perfect, you must have magic in your garden!
I'm feeling a little bit warmer just looking at all these flowers! I love the pink bellflowers, looks like campanula? And that first soft peach colored rose is so pretty!
Carol, your garden and flowers are enchanting! they inspire so much quiet and harmony, I'd like just to close my eyes and imagine me there. I live in a sun-dried part of Sicily where gardens like these are just a mirage...you know, like water in the desert!
Thanks so much for sharing them with me! Dada
