Icing sugar snow

We've had a bit of snow again this morning, when I took these pictures. It's incredible when you think that in maybe two or three weeks it'll be blooming everywhere!

First garden works in 2006

I've been very lucky that I could already do some gardening two weeks ago, that is also when I took these photos. It is still snowing here from time to time and freezing a bit at night, yesterday it was hailing and very windy, but our weather is no comparison to the weather under which the poor people in the South of Germany had to suffer, they've had a real snow chaos again this weekend and all got stuck in the traffic for hours.





This last photo is the view through my kitchen window into the front garden and street.

Easter eggs

Couldn't help but start decorating with some more easter eggs. These are very special to me because a good friend has painted them for me:

Toile de Jouy, eggs, shoes and wellies

Don't you just love "Toile de Jouy" ? I own two cushions with "Toile de Jouy" but I like to have more of it!

Especially since I've seen this picture in the latest issue of my favourite magazine:

I want the box and the eggs too!

Oh and yesterday I've received a lovely parcel from Kristy with my gorgeous edwardian swap shoe! Kristy I loved everything the shoe, the bag, the lovely tags and the wonderful scrap pictures too! It was a pleasure to swap with you! Thank you very much! x0x

Spring is not far anymore and the birds will come back in our gardens soon (hopefully without flue!) and start to sing again!
