Welcome to Boxwood Cottage!
So glad that you found me! My blog is about everything I love like gardening, decorating my home & garden and crafting. Although I'm from Germany I write my blog in English so that hopefully every visitor can read it. Hope you'll stay a while and will leave me a comment so that I know that you were here! xoxo Carola

Dear Carol,
These are just so beautiful~I know what you mean about being in a "rose mood"~maybe its because we are longing for spring?! Where do you find all the lovely images to create your collages??
Dreamy, I can see you already have spring in your heart.
Lovely! Lovely Carol. I just fall in love with all these creations you make.
The two in the posting, how big are they? Marion
Wonderful collages, you've had a lot of work with them. I've been practising with my altered art book. The whole weekend I mixed the images, colored, etc. The style is totally different but I show you it later...
There beautiful collages Carol... I love roses too....I use to have a rose garden, but since my hubby passed away, so did my roses...My mom had alot of roses, all of them she started with a stem and some root tone....she would put the stem in the ground and cover it with a fruit jar, and in no time wala....she had a beautiful rose bush....some people just have that green thumb, and she was one, so did my hubby.....You do beautiful work.....
Dreamy good!
Carol I think I shall nickname you Rose :-)
Ive been outside cutting some in my garden today and they smell wonderful. I laughed and thought of you at the time :-)

Hi Carol, lovely roses! And thanks for Queen mother! Can I show it in my blog??
Al
Thank you ladies for all your lovely comments :D
Kristy I'm glad that you still like your collage best and that Kitty is feeling better!
Laurie yes that must be the reason!I collect images from almost everywhere like calenders, postcards, victorian scraps, magazines, books, internet and I downloaded a lot from www.scrapbook-elements.com and then I print them out and cut them out.
Marion the first one is only DIN 4 like a normal page. The second one on canvas is 60 x 50 cm. I'm not sure if this is any help for you because I don't know the English measures.
I'm looking froward to see your first altered book pages soon Maria
Judy I'm so sorry to hear that your hubby has already passed away. Bless him! I can only imagine how beautiful his and your mums roses must have been.
Yeah call me Rose anytime Val and thanks for thinking at me :D
Duchess Standing Turtle lol a moon collage is not a bad idea, I'll think about it!
Al yes I think so, if you download it on your pc. I found it in Alisons brocante home blog today and just new you would love it! Have you ever visited her blog? The link is in my side bar, her blog is definitely worth a visit!
