Beautiful evening light
I love taking photos in the soft evening light, like these that I took yesterday evening, can you see how shiny the light makes the pictures?
This is how the Clematis Multiblue looks after it has lost all the petals, I find it is still very pretty:
I had to add my three Allium Globemasters again lol because I think they look like a snowman from this angle, can you see what I mean?
yes a pink snowman. They are spectacular plants, in pink your fav colour.I love the first photo. The evening has softened the colours.I like playing with light effects photographing plants and skys.
Those beautiful pinks in the first photo and and even more beautiful photo next those pinks, mauves and blues are blissful. Your garden looks like a paradise.
Hi Carol; I found your link through Daisy's blog. I am not a gardener at all, but I truly appreciate anyone with a green thumb - and your flowers are absolutely gorgeeous! How lucky you are to have such a peaceful haven in your own backyard. I will visit often to see the summer's progression! Deb
I love all the pictures but especially the one with the evening light. It casts a romantic feel to the photo. What beautiful soft colours, you must never want to go to work with such beauty. TWT
What a handsome snowman he is. Very pretty colour suit his wearing for such a beautifull evening in your garden. I love evenings and mornings best in gardens.
I thought of a snowman as soon as I saw that picture! lol Such beauty all around you and I've always loved when sunset starts and casts a glow on everything.
You take stunning photographs Carol and by what l see you also have a beautiful garden. Thank you for dropping by my blog and leaving the nice comments. Bests, Horizon
Gorgeous garden Carol. I love my garden and gardening, but I am working with clay and rock and no top soil, so after six years I am just beginning to see some results. I planted some globemaster allium and can't remember where I put them. So they must not have come up......I only got three bulbs. Well I had an enjoyable romp through your garden. I think I will link to your site, because I want to return and visit on occasion. I know what you mean about the rain, we had a rain storm and my stargazer and casa blanca lilies are now lying on their side. They were so heavy as it was......I have stakes, some, but obviously not enough.

These have such a lovely soft quality about them, just like that particular time of day.

Aren't alliums just so cool, I just can't beleive how indestructable they are either.
Wow Again !
Just wonderful pictures of your heavenly garden.
I just can't get over it.
I looked for you in the gazing balls. So beautiful spiked on sticks ...leaning to and fro.
The Clematis is beautiful even with it's bloom off.
In it's Old Age.
Love to come here and gaze at everything. Pretend I can walk thru the garden with you.
