It's almost weekend and splendid warm and sunny weather! This afternoon our national football/soccer team is playing the world cup quarter final against Argentina and the whole country is all excited! Tomorrow night I'm going to a classic open air concert with picnic, candle light and wine in our beautiful Knoops parc and I'm really looking forward to this event every summer. I'm wishing you all a sunny and happy weekend!

I'm sure you wish your flowers would stay in bloom all year long, they are all so very beautiful!! Have fun at the open air concert...the picnic and candle light sound terrific!! Have a great weekend:-)
WOW! Every day you have bigger wows than the last!!!!
Happy Weekend!
Carol,
thanks a lot for your comments to my new garden blogg. You know I admire your garden and the beautifull pictures you take every day. Let's cross our fingers for the German team this afternoon (although I don't care much about soccer).
Have a great sunny and hot week-end and lots of fun at the open air concert tomorrow night!
Regards,
Anita
I love visiting your garden so much. You're a huge inspiration to me. I wish you a great weekend as well.
Have a nice weekend you too. We share that lovely weather also here up north. German team is playing right now but it doesnt look good, anyway I hope your team wins.
Have a nice concert, Carol!

Beautiful as always!
Sounds like you have a lovely and exciting weekend planned.
Hope it's a very happy one for you Carol.
Hurray! Germany won! Congratulations!
Carol, I just love the pictures of your garden. Your flowers are beautiful. Hope you have a great weekend!
Beautiful. I can almost smell the Leonardo rose.
Have a wonderful time at the concert. It sounds like just the thing for a summer evening.
Hi Carol, now that is a sad thought to think that those glorious flowers are on their way out. I am sure something new and wonderful will soon be poking their heads up to greet the sun and your camera. You are a very talented photographer. Look forward to seeing part two of the garden story. TWT
Oh, more splendid garden photos. I can't believe you have so many gorgeous flowers. Good luck in the soccer, unfortunately we were kicked out last round (against italy mind you) - they kicked a penalty goal in the last 8 seconds - it was devastating, but the socceroos did us proud as we'd never even qualified before. Have fun in the park too - sounds so nice!
Such a breath-taking garden!
Carol as always your garden, the colors, the photos all STUNNING!! Perhaps in our next life we will be garden neighbors...our world of pinks and violets and blues!! :)
Beautiful flowers and roses too. I got some lovely roses too now. It is a pleasure to take a walk in the garden. Like you said, it is sad they are blooming for such a short time. But, they are beautiful as long as they do! Enjoy!
I've simply run out of words to describe your beautiful garden. It's such a delight see the colour and freshness of all your plants. Unfortunately, due to heat and dryness our summer gardens just don't look that good.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Oh, I know the feeling of wanting to capture the flowers in their beauty before they fade and die. My garden has changed so much in the past two months and I have taken photos almost daily just to make sure I don't miss a thing. Sometimes I think I would like everything to stay blooming, but the short time each flower is here makes them more precious.
...fade yes, though in your heart the garden is rich and in constant bloom!
This is an amazing garden.
I want one exactly like it.
