Not that you think I have greens, turquoise and light blue everywhere in my cottage, there are still lots of beautiful shades of glowing reds and pinks inside and outside too, I just need this color at this time of the year, because it gives me that warm feeling:

Great pictures carol!! Between you and Nikie I have a whole new outlook on decorating.Made some crocheted snow flakes today and glittered the heck of them, will post them on my blog when they are dry. Whenever that is? They have been all day sitting there and still not dry, wonder if thats normal?
Well anyway, love your new pictures. Went on Ebay today and bid on a few tings, and its off to the thrift store this week. I have got to have more STUFF!!!

I just recently discovered your blog and just had to write to tell you how much I am enjoying it. You have a beautiful home and garden. Being a bird lover myself, I love all of your birdhouses and other bird decor. You have quite a flair for decorating. I'll look forward to seeing more of your lovely place. Wishing you joy in preparing for the holidays. Carol
Carol,
Your home is so beautiful inside and out. I think you could get a job any where decorating or takeing pictures.....
The swap cards all turned out beautifully Carol and I really like how you've displayed them.
Your home and garden always looks lovely to me, but I love the addition of the red. It brightens the winter garden and picks up the rose theme inside your home too. It all looks so inviting!
P.S. Thank you for your addition to the story today! I think that it's going to be a fun read!
Carol what a wonderful display of sparkle in your home and all those candles illuminating your cozy home! I see the butterfly..wink!
Your table out back your view from the window is just so festive.. everything I just ~*love it all!*~ hugs NG
Oh, I am so glad you have red as well this X-Mas. ;-)))
And thanks for showing your wonderful black table ;-))) It looks so pretty!
Carol, I always marvel at the wonderful arrangements you make outside, I'm envious! If I left those pretties outdoors I would awaken the next morning to find the candles chewed and the glass shattered, thanks to my neighborhood friends, the squirrels and raccoons! So I love looking at yours.
Das sind ja wieder Fotos zum dahinschmelzen. Dein Fundus an Dekosachen muss ja unerschöpflich sein, denn immer wieder entdecke ich etwas neues bei dir.
I LOVE all your photo's.Ýou have decorated it so beautiful again.
I just have started to decorate it a little bit for Christmas this weekend. My entire family think I have lost my mind!!!
What lovely displays! I especially like the candlelit table top piece. Beautiful.
Carol, I love the birdhouse sitting outside on the table. It's just lovely! It really "pops" with the red accents you have there.
Love all the reds and pinks in your house, too. Thanks for sharing.
BEAUTIFUL birdhouses!
I think this is my first time to your blog, by the way...feel free to stop by my blog and say hello as well! :)
Beautiful Carol! I especially love your chandalier and all those wonderful colors everywhere!!!
Carol, I have said this before, but I would love to find some of those coloured glass balls that you use in your garden, here in the Uk, they look so effective! how cosy and comfortable your home and garden looks at this time of year!
The Christmas light shines!!
Carol as usual you leave me speechless. You and NG could go into business together and make a killing. I don't know where to start, I love everything. All the beautiful natural elements combined with a touch of sparkle. Why don't you take a visit to Canada and decorate for me. Wink. TWT
I can't believe how beautiful everything looks !
I want to BE THERE !!!
Love, S.
I love visiting your site! It is such a happy place. I love your photos. Your cottage is so inspiring to me....so different from my own home....I love them both!
Wie aus einem Magazin, Caro! Schön.
Wieviele Teelichter brauchst du so das Jahr über?

I love the colour its so warm and cosy. The bird cage reminds me of a wonderful window display I saw in a london deparment store at the weekend. Full of golden bird cages with shoes and things inside. Of course my favourite window was the one with the golden rabbits!
Red is such a good Christmas colour and your home and garden are looking fantasic, thanks for sharing such Christmas wonder.
I love the athmosphere you have created.. beautiful.. but always ask to myself.. how can you keep a garden so tidy..
what is your mistery =))
enjoy your garden.. Xmas.. candlelights.. and.. life..
Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog about the glass balls Carol! so they are gazing balls! I have been looking on ebay.com and you can buy them in the states not here in the UK though, so depending on the shipping I may be ordering some, although you know often over here I have seen those round glass paperweights in thrift shops, and its got me thinking, although they are smaller, they could make an effective display in an old pot! see how you inspire!
It's all soooo beautiful....I'm off for another peek!
