I fondly remember a New Year's Eve dinner in Bremen, which included a delicious bowl of Mock Turtle soup. So very Yummy! Do they still serve it over there?

Nope that is not my cottage, that is our friends cottage of which I had already posted some pictures earlier in December.
The first birdcage picture I took at my parents house and the last one at our friends cottage.
But yes it is still this green here in my garden too. The Boxwood is always green!
Another Carol: I'm sorry to admit that I don't know what mock turtle soup is, but it doesn't sound very tasty to me lol is it with turtle meat? Your comment that my blog was one of your highlights in 2006 has made me very happy, thank you! :D

Looks like you had loads of lovely presents for christmas. Its interesting reading how you open them on christmas eve. We do the same as my mums family are german. Its always been strange explaining it to my friends here.
