So glad that you found me! My blog is about everything I love like gardening, decorating my home & garden and crafting. I'm still here

Just a short message to let you know that I'm still here, just very busy these last 2 weeks. My daughter is leaving for Melbourne in Australia tomorrow for at least 6 month, maybe even a year, so we had a lot to prepare and a fab graduation and farewell party for her on Saturday and friends and family staying with us. We'll bring her to the Hamburg airport tomorrow and I hope to get back to normal soon. Between all that I work full time. Today is my dad's birthday so another busy day! Thank you all for so many lovely comments on my last post, I'm planning to make a new post and to visit all your blogs again as soon as I can find the time. Miss you!
Stay cool!

Missed you. Will look forward to your next visit. Not an easy time when our children go off travelling. Thoughts are with you.

I had beenwondering what your weather was like. The storm we had yesterday has wrecked mine. See blog. Plus my Disastrous hourney in 61.

Wishing your daughter all the best in her travel to Australia!I am sure the house will be quite empty without her but as mothers we must allow those ~wings to fly~ Enjoy your special day celebrating your dad's birthday! I do miss you Carol but understand that we all have a life besides our blogging.

Hallo Carol,
diesmal auf Deutsch:
Viele Grüße an Deine Tochter. Melbourne ist toll, wie ganz Australien. Ich liebe diesen Kontinent. 1995 war ich dort 4 Wochen im gesamten Land unterwegs. Einfach atemberaubend. Ich beneide sie um diesen Aufenthalt.

LG aus Riensberg

I hope your daughter has a lovely time in Australia! Sounds like you've been VERY busy! Our friends are sending their 15 year old daughter off to France next month for an exchange program for an entire year. How exciting when kids can do some world traveling while they are still young!

I have been reading your blog for a couple of months. I just wanted to let you know how much you inspire me for my own garden. Even though I have been gardening for about 11 years I am just know finding out that cottage style is my passion, I was always a bit more formal. So thank-you for all your inspiration! I wish your daught best of luck and to you as well with her being gone.
Looking forward in seeing and reading more.

Carol - sorry I haven't visited or commented for such a long time, but I'm feeling the urge to be 'blog sociable' again.

I hope your daughter has a wonderful time in Australia. Is she going to travel around the country or spend all her time in Melbourne?

I live in Canberra and would be happy to meet up with her if she likes. Please let me know if she would like me to do that. My email address is on my Profile page.

I must go now and look at your beautiful garden.

Cheers - Alice
