If you are a bit like me, you are certainly also nosey, about what other people studios do look like, that's why I took these photos for you the week before Christmas. As you can see my little studio corner is situated in our loft room, right behind this wall. This where I love to spend most of my spare time:
A few cards that I have made and sent out last minute to my German friends and family: http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/327/kartenproduktion2me1.jpg

A few month before this corner was practically unused and now it is stuffed with all my baskets, drawers and boxes full of papers, scraps, stamps, fibers, embellishments etc. and of course things that just inpires me and some finished work:

WoW! Carol you are far more organised than me!! You have a beautiful workspace. It is filled with so much light too...mine has very little! You have so much around you to inspire, no wonder you create such lovely pieces.

Think I should do a bit more tiying up though!!

I LOVED the peek!!
Thanks, Carol!!
Carol, even your studio looks very cozy and charming... ;-))
Believe me you wouldn't want to see mine right now! It became Christmas central throughout the holidays and I need to clean it up!
I would be so happy to just sit in yours and let my eyes and thoughts wander. So much lovely inspiration!
Thank you Carol for inviting us in...and for being my friend.
In deinem Studio sieht es ja fast so aus wie in einem Shop! Da sind ja Unmengen von Dekoartikeln und Zubehör, ich kann nur noch staunen!
What a wonderful space! It is so inspiring and happy! Now wonder so many amazing things come out of there!
I have been working in my studio...it is not nearly as organized as yours, but I will post photos...come visit!
Looks great Carol.Everyone says I have so much stuff, but I don't think sooooooo. In fact I was at the thrift store today and plan on going back on Friday. Just love all the do-dads and things to put them in. You have given me many ideas since I have been coming to visit. Thankyou.

Thanks for the tour!
What a bright, clolourful place.
I'm not surprised you are inspired to create so many pretty things there.
I will have to clean up my act before I post my workspace.!!!!
Oh my goodness. Absolutely gorgeous and so inspiring! Love the Raggedy dolls. My daughters room has a raggedy doll theme. Love how you display so much art. Wonderful!!!
Carol I always love looking at your blog, so full of beautiful pictures. You have a gorgeous home and garden, thanks for sharing:-)
How charming and cozy!
Loved enlarging the pics to see every little detail.
Thanks for giving us a peek into your creative escape.
Carol,
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of your studio. I LOVE seeing how other people decorate their creative spaces. I think yours is inspiring. I was already planning on posting a couple of pictures of mine soon so now I am even more motivated. Of course, since mine is just being developed, it doesn't have nearly the personality of yours.
Carol what a great way to use the space in your loft. I can see why all the ~creativity~ happens with such a inspirational space to work in!Everything seems to have its place and organized. Keep up the wonderful crafting I love to see it! In the meantime I'll keep my eyes open for new
photo opportunities! hugs NG
What a wonderful peek at your inspiration corner - no wonder you feel so creative.

Hi, Carol,
your studio is very nice and inspiring. And you are so perfectly organized!
No wonder that you are able to create such wonderful decorations and this special atmosphere!
I would really love to have a room like this.
Unfortunately we haven t enough space in our apartment so that I have to use the kitchen table for patchwork and other handiwork.
Greetings,
Monika212
Your studio looks like a candy store..full of interesting pieces. HOw lucky you are!...and that window! You can dream and create with the moon. (I left a comment on my blog about the skijumpers if you want to have a look) Now I just have to add: MAYBE we still have a chance for the gold. This man, Arttu Lappi is also a clever guy, he studies a law at the same time with skijumping. Also I like his happy face!
Your studio looks great!
Oh, I almost forget.Wishing you .all the best for
What an absolutely wonderful workspace, I can see now how you create such beautiful things - you have fantastic surroundings!
Your studio area is SO beautiful and cheery, Carol! I love the vintage gilded frame you are using as a bulletin board and would you believe I also have the two angels in the lower right hand corner. Mine are displayed in my husband's grandmother's china cabinet.
Now about the soup.......
No, there is no turtle meat in mock turtle soup. It has very small meatballs made of, I believe, veal and the base seemed like it was beef stock that was slightly thickened. We had it at a nice restaurant in Bremen and also at a Gasthaus (I think they're called) in Bremerhaven.
Thanks once again for your lovely pictures :)
Carol, I love your crafty corner! I can see where you get your inspiration from. It's such a lovely place to sit and craft.
And I bet you know where everything is. My work shop is my garage. That is my favorite place and where you can find me if I am not working in the garden Best to you in the New Year
Carol I don't think I've ever commented at your blog and If I did, it was a while back. I just love coming here to see all the new stuff. Such beautiful artistry! It's always a pleasure to view your treasures! Thanks for allowing the rest of the world to see them. Have a wonderful 2007.
see that chair in fron of that table in front of that window? Or maybe the little one in the corner? I would sit for hours and look at your beautiful things and feel richer for it when I went home...
What a fun, creative, inspiring space Carol! So many lovely things!
I loved seeing it! Thanks for sharing with us!
xo,
Kim
Very inspiring with so many lovely colors and sparkles! A delight to the eyes!
Hello Dear Carol....
It’s been a busy time with me too just lately and I’m late getting around to my favourite blogs, so I’m tagging along at the rear of your comments.
Your studio! Oh my! What a delightful place, I’ve spent a long time looking at your pictures and enlarging them to check out all the detail. I love them, what a terrific place you have created for yourself, you are surrounded with such wonderful art and crafting materials, no wonder you are such an inspired lady. Thank you for the glimpse into this special world of yours. Marion
What a great studio! I would certainly love spending time there.
Have a great weekend, Carol.
Debbie

It looks like it is straight out of a magazine !
I love your altered CD's. In fact I would like to make them with my kindergarten class. Any tips?
