Happy 18th Birthday Roxy!

Before we're off on our little vacation I'd like to show you some pictures of my darling daughter Roxanne-Michelle. While she is out to party tonight I've had some time to go through her baby pictures and because at that time we haven't owned a digicam I took photos of the photos. I can't believe she's going to be 18 years old on monday 9th of January the time has passed so fast! I wish her all the happiness, love and success in the world for her 18th birthday!

Memories

I miss the snow, it's gone since 6 days now and I'm looking forward to a little vacation I'm doing with my daugther and my sister on sunday. It's my babies 18th b-day on monday and her wish was to pass the day snowboarding, so we decided to drive up to the Harz. Here are some very old photos of me in the snow near the Harz, were my grandparents lived and a big part of my relatives is still living there. I'm actually looking forward to see them again on sunday :D

The first picture is me at about 11 month old with my mum

I've got mail

This is the scrumptious (to use Alison's fave word) content of my vintage x-mas swap gift from Cindy of http://sauvageblue.blogspot.com/ which I've received on New Years Eve:

A beautiful pink brooch, 4 embroidered wine glass coasters in a net lace bag, a mini puzzle from one my fave artists Marjolein Bastin, pink scented shoe stuffers, a gorgeous little turqouise tea pot with butterflies, a beautiful pink rose bud capsule, an adorable white chrotched doily and a wonderful yellow towel with a green embroidered border, an embossed magnetic verse card and 4 cute little cards with envelopes. I love it all started with the santa box it was in and it was so worth the wait! It 's a perfect treat and I feel really spoiled by Cindy. :D Thank you so much dear Cindy!

And here is a photo of all my 25 Christmas cards I've got this year thanks to Robyn's swaps. I never got so much before and without the swap I would have got only 8.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to my dear blogging friends and neighbours from all over the world! I wish you all good health, luck and contentment in 2006!

And I just have to show you this photo that my sister took and sent to me. They always lay peanuts and walnuts under their Christmas tree outside and apples in a basket and then they can sit at their dining table and watch the birds and the squirrels having dinner as well :D
