Welcome to Boxwood Cottage!

So glad that you found me! My blog is about everything I love like gardening, decorating my home & garden and crafting. Although I'm from Germany I write my blog in English so that hopefully every visitor can read it. Hope you'll stay a while and will leave me a comment so that I know that you were here! xoxo Carola

My selfmade Christmas cards 2006

A part of them was for the swap, the rest for some other bloggers, I hope the receivers will like them. I won't tell which card was for whom, so if you haven't got your's yet, there is still the surprise which one it'll be!

I had so much fun creating them that I've already finished 3 more and I think I'll still do some more next week too.

P.S. Update, Wednesday 06th of December 2006 (Nikolaus Day in Germany!) I've had the post above prepared last night.

Just to let you all know that I'll be away for a few days, from Friday to Sunday this upcoming weekend to be exact. My two sisters, my mum and I (that's so great that just we women of the family can go alone wohoo ) are going to see our friends which are living more up North of Germany in Schleswig Holstein which is close to the Danish border, for a weekend hopefully filled with lot's of creativity :D. So I'm not sure if I'll be able to post again before Monday.

Hope you'll have a happy time!

Carol,
Those cards are beautiful and look like such fun to make. I may have to give that idea a try. I had pretty good luck with the banners, you know, glitter all over the place. Always love comming to see what you are up to. Have a nice weekend with your family and friends.

Carol,
Just found your blog through Debbie at homespunliving. Guess we're all making cornucopia's:-) Beautiful cards! I love the German die cut scraps. Can't wait to take a further look around--I love to garden also, cottage gardening a la Tasha Tudor. Have a great weekend!

Oh Carol! =^..^=

My package came! .::swoon::.
Filled to the brim with wonderment!

I peeked just a little ...
And so did a VERY delighted little Chichi -^..^- (who is trying his best to convince me that ALL of the treats are meant to be his ...)

I am so thrilled!
With every single thing!
(and can barely stand the wait until spring to plant now.)

The card is amazing ... and was my favorite one you pictured! HOW did you know that was the one?!

Such a delightful surprise to open.
Thank you.

=^..^= love you! zU
