Welcome to Boxwood Cottage!

So glad that you found me! My blog is about everything I love like gardening, decorating my home & garden and crafting. Although I'm from Germany I write my blog in English so that hopefully every visitor can read it. Hope you'll stay a while and will leave me a comment so that I know that you were here! xoxo Carola

Fave color!

Besides of beautiful white and blue; purple, magenta and pink are my favorite flower colors, all the above beauties (and more) are blooming in my garden at the moment. What a pity that it rains and rains since two days. The photos were taken on Monday afternoon.

Hi Carol.....
Such lovely pictures of your flowers pink & purple, I love them. Also your ironwork, most unusual.

Like you in mainland Europe, little old UK is getting pretty awful weather, I’m sad that my favourite month of May has been such a wash out, flowers have come and gone so quickly by the bashing of the wind and rain and I’ve not been able to get out and enjoy them.

They promise it will improve and we will be enjoying really hot weather soon. I wonder!

Carol, I’m pleased you liked my painted dresser and table, It took a long time to make my mind up to do it and some time to complete it, but now it is done and yes, I am happy with it too.

So many beautiful flowers in such pretty colours. I love 'Bleeding Heart' and the Aquilegia are so fresh and lovely. In fact, I'd love to come over and spend time in your garden just soaking up the colour and freshness of it all. Thank you so much for your lovely photos.
