nor can I work in the garden without drowning and they forecast no better weather for next week, I've decided today to go back to work on Monday and continue my vacation sometime in June. I just need the warmth of the sun to feel that I can have a really relaxing vacation even or especially when I "only" stay at home. Two more pictures that I took on Monday this week:

A happy weekend to all of you!

I am trying to figure out which book you are reading, but Can't.....:-)
Hi, Carol, I like your cusions. Is this the book you have from me?
Sigrun
OK now you've got me!!! I am going to have plant some white bleeding hearts by the pond!:) Too bad about the rain. I hear you wanting some sun smiling on you. :) Yes what book is that?
great chair if it was dry.Enjoy your weekend off then carol.I love the white bleeding hearts. You have an eden like garden!
I just love your favourite place, it must be lovely sitting there reading a book on a hot day. What I really love about your garden is the way you use objects, such as sculptures, garden tables, those lovely metal birds, everywhere there are interesting items some just on show, obviously because you love them, and others because the look lovely filled with plants. Sorry your holiday has been spoilt by the weather. In England we are all fed up of it too. Lets hope June will be a lot better.
It figures the weather is not cooperating with your vacation time:-( Love your relaxing spot, it all looks so cozy and I can just imagine how lovely it must be to sit there when the sun is shining. We are having a beautiful weekend for a change and I was finally able to plant all my flowers!
The rain is so precious for the garden Carol but its a good idea to not waste the time if the weather is no good. You will enjoy it later on when the sun is shining. Hugss
The book is Enkopai by Cathrine Oddie. The German title "Mein Leben mit den Massai" means "My life with the Massai"
Yes Al it's one of the books you've sent me and I've just finished it.

It's nice Carol you can choose when you're having your holiday. Your book sounds interesting...
Now I have to ask: have you bought all of your summer flowers or are you going to buy more?
I will buy more, when it's safe to leave them outside without thinking if there's frost or not.
Carol,
