Welcome to Boxwood Cottage!

So glad that you found me! My blog is about everything I love like gardening, decorating my home & garden and crafting. Although I'm from Germany I write my blog in English so that hopefully every visitor can read it. Hope you'll stay a while and will leave me a comment so that I know that you were here! xoxo Carola

More photos of my early fall garden

We've still had quite dry but at times very windy weather for the last 3 days and the sunny periodes are getting rare, nevertheless I've managed a 2 hours afternoon nap in my deckchair on Sunday afternoon and took these photos when I woke up. We've had a nice, long bank holiday weekend overhere because yesterday was the "German Unification Day" (and my little sisters birthday) , but today it's back to work.

In such a beautiful garden my nap would have been with open eyes :-)

I guess I need to count my pansies as one of them seems to have moved over to your garden. It's the red one, I have exactly the same ;-) Your garden and your patio still look beautiful and let's hope we will get some rain very soon.

Carol - I always see so many beautiful things in your garden that I would love to have in my own - and today I see something that I DO have - the beautiful clay "guardian angel" ( I will take a picture and post it )

Hi Carol...
Pleased to read that you are enjoying these lovely balmy days of autumn for they will be getting few and far between now. I know I’ve said it before, but I simply love your garden decorations and I seem to find something new in each posting. We just don’t get these lovely things over in UK, bird houses yes, but not the glass balls and the ornate ironware. I just love them. Marion

Early fall indeed! Your garden looks better in the fall than mine looked at the height of the blooming season. You're a wonder, Carol!
